Optimal fast charging station locations for electric ridesharing with vehicle-charging station assignment

Electrified shared mobility services need to handle charging infrastructure planning and manage their daily operations minimize total operation time cost. However, existing studies tend address these problems separately. A new online vehicle-charging assignment model is proposed integrated into the fast location problem for dynamic ridesharing using electric vehicles. The latter formulated as a bi-level optimization fleet’s time. surrogate-assisted approach solve combinatorial efficiently. tested on realistic flexible bus service in Luxembourg. results show that policy can effectively reduce delays of fleet compared state-of-the-art methods. With 10 additional DC chargers installed, be reduced up 27.8% when applying under test scenarios.
